You can also register to vote in person at:
- County Auditor’s office
- Driver’s License Station (easy to do while renewing or applying for your driver’s license)
- City Finance Office
- Public assistance agencies providing food stamps, TANF or WIC
- Department of Human Services offices that provide assistance to the disabled
- Military recruitment offices

- Check out the Voter Information Portal (https://vip.sdsos.gov/VIPLogin.aspx)!
- You can make sure your information is correct – especially if you have moved recently.
- Check your polling location
- Look at a sample ballot
- Research candidates and issues that are important to you
- VOTE! Early/Absentee voting began on begins May 20th. Or vote in person on June 4th.
