You can also register to vote in person at:

  • County Auditor’s office​
  • Driver’s License Station (easy to do while renewing or applying for your driver’s license)​
  • City Finance Office​
  • Public assistance agencies providing food stamps, TANF or WIC​
  • Department of Human Services offices that provide assistance to the disabled​
  • Military recruitment offices​

Already registered to vote? Great! Be sure to fill out the form and pledge to vote in the 2024 Combined City/School Elections! Here are a few other things to do:

  • Check out the Voter Information Portal (https://vip.sdsos.gov/VIPLogin.aspx)!
    • You can make sure your information is correct – especially if you have moved recently.
    • Check your polling location
    • Look at a sample ballot
  • Research candidates and issues that are important to you
  • VOTE! Early/Absentee voting began on begins May 20th. Or vote in person on June 4th.
